Our Twisted vintage bangle bracelet is stunning and makes a perfect Mother's Day or Birthday gift! An excellent representation of the Victorian Etruscan Revival period. Twisted is a 14K yellow gold vintage bangle with blue sapphires (September's birthstone) and diamonds (April's birthstone) alternating between a twisting rope accent.  The hinged bangle showcases 3 blue sapphires alternating with 2 diamonds, adorning a geometric design with a twisted rope and measures 6.5" around.

According to the International Gem Society, the death of Prince Albert in 1861 and the onset of the American Civil War ended the whimsical romance of the Early Victorian Period rather swiftly, and so began the Grand Period (1861-1885) of the Victorian Period.  There were numerous archeological digs the occurred during this time period, which created an immense amount of interest by the public.  This intrigue was then reflected in the period's jewelry design replicating pieces and methodologies of what was being discovered around the world.
