In Greek mythology ATHENA is the daughter of Zeus who was the goddess of wisdom, warfare, mathematics and courage to name a few. How inspiring is that? Channel your inner goddess wearing our ATHENA RING.
ATHENA is a 14K yellow gold sodalite flower ring. ATHENA presents a flower motif to the center of the sodalite gemstone adorning a granulated setting with rope detail and reeded shank.
Sodalite was first discovered by Europeans in 1811 in Greenland but was not widely used in jewelry until 1891 when large deposits were discovered in Ontario, Canada. Typically, sodalite is a rich royal blue mineral which can vary from opaque to translucent, however, they can be green, yellow, grey or pink.
