Although herringbone chain history is traced back to Ancient Egypt times and worn by their elite classes, the herringbone necklace or bracelet exudes modern vibes for today's woman.  As seen in Harper's Bazaar magazine, our Wear Everyday® Flexible Herringbone Chain is a classic necklace style that will remain part of your jewelry wardrobe for years to come.  Choose either the 7" bracelet length or one of the versatile necklace lengths.  A great layering necklace or bracelet so you can create the perfect neck mess or wrist stack. As you can see in the video, our beautiful herringbone necklace moves with the contours of the model's neckline, accentuating the high polish finish of the 14K gold.  The term herringbone is a reference to the skeleton design of the herring fish. Herringbone chains are created with small flat links interlocked together in a zig-zag pattern.  Herringbone chains do require special care due to their flat link design.  Store your herringbone chain flat (do not bend or twist) or hung up while you aren't wearing it to prevent kinks or getting tangled with other jewelry.  It's best not to sleep or do rigorous exercise movements with this type of chain.
